Your First Dance & beyond
The first Dance is traditionally reserved for the bride & groom. Exactly like an old-fashioned ball, the idea is that the married couple, as the guests of honor at a dance, open the dancing.
So, how do you choose?
As a Norwich wedding photographer, I have seen many different styles and ideas that really go down a storm. From the happy couple running through a human arch to the second dance with Dad and down to the heavy ravers straight after, it all makes for an exciting evening.
I have shown a few shots above of the first dance and each is different.
A great couple called Naomi & Ady practiced for weeks so that on their wedding day they danced to ‘Magic Moments’ with a stunning finally of Naomi pulling flowers from Ady’s magic wand.
Others have tangoed and one couple even got their bridesmaids in on the act to dance to Michael Jacksons Thriller.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure it is personal and most of all that you enjoy it.
